3DLized is a company founded in 2007 to address the market for creating and displaying stereoscopic content for Digital Cinema and Special Venue. 3DLized develops new techniques for 3D film-making and uses them to make 3D films, advertisements, promotional clips and alternative content. Besides creating 3D movies, 3Dlized is also specialized in turning any 2D movies such as advertisings, old movies, IMAX and large screen 2D movies into 3D stereoscopic content.

Behind the project, two men...

The company’s founders are two of France’s leading figures in 3D stereoscopic technology and creative 3D film-making.

Philippe Gérard, the Chief Technology Officer, is a 3D movie director and engineer. Philippe has a degree in Movie Direction, a PhD in Engineering and an MBA. As a research scientist at INRIA, Philippe led National and European projects in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, 3D human tracking, and markerless motion capture for sport and entertainment. He designed the high profile shows for the launch of the Dassault Aviation Falcon 7X and has published hundreds of articles and scientific papers.

Patrick Zucchetta is the Managing Director of Doremi Technologies, a part of the
Doremi Group which is the world’s leading manufacturer of Digital Cinema servers
for 2D and 3D digital projection.
